Completing the Puzzle to Build a Successful Community
The workshop, held September 10, 2008, included speakers from the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA), the Alabama Tourism Department, EDAA, the Governor's Office of Faith Based and Community Initiatives, Alacom Finance, the Coastal Gateway Regional Economic Development Authority, USDA Rural Development and the Covington County Economic Development Commission. Keynote speaker Jack Schultz, author of Boomtown U.S.A: the 7 1/2 Keys to Big Success in Small Towns, discussed key aspects of successful small town growth.
