Valley continues to work with the East Alabama Regional Planning & Development Commission (EARPDC) on the new Comprehensive Plan for the city. Ryan Kallem, Principal Planner for the EARPDC, regularly updates the council and community on the progress on the new plan. A final proposed plan could be ready for implementation by May of 2019.
