Tall cedar tree logs hold up the roof, that covers the homemade wood benches, that sit on the sawdust covered ground. The Tabernacle has been the home of the Hartselle Camp Meeting since the late 1800’s. It and other camp meetings can trace their heritage in part to the holiness movement of the 19th century. The Tabernacle is one of two churches in Morgan County listed on the Hallelujah Trail. To this day The Tabernacle is home to an annual camp meeting in June and is available to use for weddings, receptions and more.
