
The Wilbourne Antique Rose Trail is a public walking trail lined with hundreds of lovely roses that winds through the heart of Foley, following the path of the old railroad line one block east of Hwy. 59. Antique roses, disease resistant and well suited to Foley’s subtropical climate, are presented in chronological order with signage that identifies each plant species and the year it was propagated.
Begins near 125 E. Violet Ave at the north end of Foley’s Heritage Park, near the pavilion, and continues north to Section Street. A southen section of the trial begins at 125 W. Orange Ave and continues south to Myrtle Ave.
