ACE will host (2) application workshops for the upcoming 2019 application process and selection on Friday, January 11, 2019*. Those communities interested may attend at no cost and select either the morning or afternoon session. The morning session will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and the afternoon session will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Both sessions will provide the same valuable information and will answer any questions communities may have regarding becoming an ACE distinguished community. A formal letter to all eligible communities, as defined with a population of 2,000-18,000 residents, will be sent to the respective Mayors in the coming weeks regarding the 2019 application process and encouraging those interested communities to apply.
The training workshops will be held at the Alabama Municipal Electric Authority (AMEA) located at 80 TechnaCenter Drive, Montgomery, AL 36117.
Those interested in attending may register during the forthcoming link that will expire on Friday, January 4, 2019. All attendees need to be registered before the deadline of Friday, January 4th. If there are any attendee changes, please let ACE know.
*In case of inclement winter weather, a contingency date has been arranged for Friday, January 18, 2019 at AMEA. If this occurs, ACE will notify those who have registered for the event.
ACE looks forward to seeing you at the training session and answering any questions you may have regarding the application process!
