ACE Community Reunion, Renewal and Resources Event

Hello ACE Mayors, Local Coordinators, Partners and Resource Providers!

The Alabama Communities of Excellence (ACE) invites you to come to our “FREE” REUNION EVENT (registration required by July 24)! It’s been a while since we got all of our ACE communities and volunteers together for a networking event just for us – so we decided it was time for a REUNION!

Please join all ACE Communities, partners and resource providers for an interactive workshop where you will hear from thriving ACE communities how they have achieved success. It will be a celebration of ACE communities to reveal the many achievements and an opportunity to share effective best practices and learn what worked and why! Come ready to learn, and connect with each other!

We challenge each ACE Community, ACE partners and resource providers to bring civic leaders (City Council Members, planners, local economic developers, city administrator/city clerks) involved in making important decisions to acquire new ways to reach long-term goals.

Topics included:

• Revitalization of Leadership Programs
• Renewing Tourism in Communities
• Strategic Planning and Implementation
• Resources Available to ACE Communities
• Round Table Discussion of Early ACE Communities: “Where Are They Now”
• Relevance of Quality of Life

Time: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

Location: Alabama Power Company Clanton Conference Center – Alabama Room in Clanton, AL – 2030 7th Street South – Clanton, AL 35045

Registration: There is no fee for the workshop, however registration is REQUIRED due to limited seating and meal counts. Please plan to drive together as PARKING is very limited. A box lunch will be served.

Directions:
From Birmingham take I-65 South. Exit at the third Clanton Exit, Exit #205, and take a right at the end of the ramp. Travel about ¼ mile and you will see the Alabama Power Office on the right.

From Montgomery take I-65 North to Exit #205 in Clanton. Take a left and travel about ¼ mile to the Alabama Power Office on the right.
