Set in a patch of woods surrounding a brand new playground and picnic area, this wide path is well marked and lit at intervals for night walks. This spiffy park near Helena is not on the Cahaba River, nor will you see the endangered Cahaba lily here. What you will find, though, is a neat picnic and playground area with a carefully marked gravel path that winds through a small patch of suburban woods off of CR 52. The trail is wide and great for both walking and running.
