Michael Brooks is the ACE representative for the Alabama Small Business Development Center Network. The Alabama SBDC Network provides management and technical assistance to existing and start-up businesses to help grow Alabama’s economy. It is a statewide resource organization that provides a variety of no-cost services for small businesses including market research, feasibility studies, industry and competitive analysis, and specialty assistance with capital access, government procurement, and international trade. Professional business advisors work confidentially with small businesses to identify needs and provide solutions. The SBDC is a partnership program between the U.S. Small Business Administration, nine higher education institutions, and the State of Alabama. To help small businesses succeed, the SBDC relies on a team of dedicated business advisors and leverages resources from its member universities.
