Purpose (Sewer Expansion, Design Plan for City Center, etc) Library Technology and Automation Grant -Collection Development Grant to enhance and purchase electronic collections (ebooks and eaudiobooks) available currently through the LIBBY APP. The unique detail of this grant is that these matrials will be available to Spanish Fort public library card holders only., The Code Club for Small & Rural Libraries Grant- there was no monetary value for this grant but it allows the library access to software free of charge. The value of the software is $2,000. So far because of this grant the Library has hosted 5 months of Code Club providing basic computer programming essentials for the children in our community who attend., Causeway Master Plan-This plan includes improvements by adding new barriers, sidewalks and signage as well as many other things.

Developed an outdoor recreation sector by completing Integrity Park and The Fort Kids Park. The dedication for Integrity Park was held September 18, 2018, and the grand opening for The Fort Kids Park was held November 3, 2018.
Also Reduced vacancies in shopping centers with a lot of new businesses including: Honey Bun Donuts, Forever 21, B Darlin, Golden Rule Senior Center, Smoothies N Things Cafe, Cut’s By Us, LBN Furniture Outlet, Humdingers, Anytime Fitness, SOLA Salon, Charles Schwab, CSpire, Plain Jane Gifts and more.

Highway 31 widening project is currently in progress.
Causeway Master Plan is in progress. This will improve the causeway by adding new barriers, sidewalks, signage, etc.
Integrity Park which is a new athletic complex was completed September 18, 2018.
The Fort Kids Park was completed November 3, 2018.
