The City Park & Recreation Board operates an 18-hole golf course which provides residents and visitors with a great source of outdoor recreation. The Golf Course is open to the public year-round. Edward R. Davis joined the Golf Course as Golf Pro and Manager in 1998. Ed came to Montevallo from the Dixie section of the PGA where he was Pro Member Administrator and Assistant Executive Director. With a pro-shop, golf carts, and excellent greens and fairways, the Montevallo Golf course is a great place to experience some fine leisure time.
